Robert Richardson, founder of the Off Grid Survival website, has warned that the mainstream media is weaponizing artificial intelligence (AI) to get rid of legitimate prepping and survival sites.
Instead of articles written by experienced preppers, Richardson warned that there are now a lot of prepping websites full of AI-generated and stolen content run by fake preppers. (h/t to OffGridSurvival.com)
Richardson said his website first encountered trouble when a mainstream media giant tried to acquire the company. The company promised the Off Grid Survival team a lot of money if they would let them take over the site while pretending it was still an independent outlet. Richardson and the other members of the site refused.
They were also offered to do some television shows, but they declined after finding out that these shows wanted to present them with a fake backstory for the public. They were even asked to pretend to live in a cabin deep in the wilderness.
Another connected media organization retaliated by trademarking the website’s name, at the same time employing a team of lawyers from the West Coast to silence the Off Grid Survival team and attempt to shut the site down.
They tried to resist these coordinated attacks, but the once-thriving site was then attacked on other fronts. Other prepping websites have been deliberately shadowbanned, de-platformed and eradicated from major search engines – in most cases being replaced by corporate entities masquerading as “ordinary people.” (Related: Digital prepping: How to survive in a world dominated by AI.)
Richardson shared the devastating effects of these attacks to Off Grid Survival website:
Richardson also referenced a Daily Mail article that discussed the thriving “luxury prepper industry,” featuring an alleged prepping website run by someone who was presented as an expert.
This is ironic because the featured website, like many others online, has published stolen content from Off Grid Survival and other independent sources that have already surrendered to the daily attacks.
The website is also backed by Silicon Valley bigwigs like Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, a prominent pioneer in artificial intelligence. Media giants use OpenAI to steal, spin content and publish it as their own.
Unlike legitimate websites run by true preppers who want to help others interested in prepping and survival, these websites only disseminate information that contradicts their own actions.
Richardson warned that many fake prepper websites are managed by the same people who orchestrated the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) plandemic and enforced draconian restrictions that killed businesses and the economy.
They know that the public is helpless and they are prepping for a time when you realize that they are the culprits.
The Daily Mail article highlighted several alleged elite preppers such as Altman, Reddit co-founder Steve Huffman and John Ramey, a former Obama administration adviser-turned-prepper who now manages a site called ThePrepared.com, which is ironically filled with stolen and AI-generated web content.
Richardson warned that the internet is now at least 90 percent “controlled copy and pasted,” which is designed to control all aspects of your life while giving you the illusion of a free and open internet.
But in reality, only a few mega-corporations run almost every website that you find on Google and social media. Even famous “influencers” are often working for these same companies.
These companies control what you see on social media and search results to make you think that the internet gives you access to a diverse range of sources. You might even be following “influencers” who are being controlled and manipulated by visible handlers and unseen puppeteers.
These companies want to control your actions, speech and thoughts. What’s coming is worse than the movies they produced to condition you into mindlessly excepting it.
Think twice before believing what you read online, and make sure you only consume content from real preppers, not fake influencers and AI “writers.”
